Broccoli and Brussel Sprout Soup

 1 quart
Ingredients:

3/4 lb broccoli
3/4 lb Brussel sprouts
1/2 Tbs rice vinegar
3/4 Tbs mirin
1/2 Tbs lemon juice (Meyer lemon or lime)
salt and pepper
water, purified

Preparation: 
  1. Blanch broccoli and Brussel sprouts in boiling water.
  2. Puree broccoli and Brussel sprouts in blender, adding water to achieve desired consistency.
  3. Season with vinegar, mirin, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
